먼 미래의 우리 후손들은 어떤 모습을 하고 있을까.

X-레이 필름을 통해 간접적으로 상상한 신인류의 모습이다. 자연 선택과 진화를 통해 유전적 특성을 물려받은 것이 아니라, 정신적 유산과 순수 기술을 통해 창조된 유기체의 모습이다.

그들은 인공지능과 생체공학이 융합된 신체를 갖추고, 기술이 삶의 일부가 된 새로운 종으로 진화할지도 모른다. 아마도 그들의 몸은 기계와 유기체가 경계 없이 공존하는 탈인간 형태일 것이다. 인간의 한계를 넘어, 우리가 상상도 못한 방식으로 세상과 소통하고 살아갈 것이다. 그러한 미래적 존재의 가능성을 간접적으로나마 탐구하고 예시한다.

What will our distant descendants look like in the far-off future?

This is the imagined form of a new humanity, envisioned indirectly through X-ray film. It is not a being that has inherited genetic traits through natural selection and evolution, but rather an organism created through intellectual legacy and pure technology.

Perhaps they will possess bodies that fuse artificial intelligence and biotechnology, evolving into a new species for whom technology is an inseparable part of life. Maybe their forms will transcend the human, where machine and organism coexist without boundaries. Beyond the limits of humanity, they will communicate and live in ways we cannot yet imagine. This work indirectly explores and exemplifies the possibilities of such future beings.
